A joint human chain of Ulama Oikya Parishad and Islamic Movement was held in Ramgarh

 Khagrachhari Qaumi Madrasa and Ulema Oikya Parishad and Islami Andolan Upazila Branch have organized a human chain in Ramgarh to protest against the shooting death of neo-Muslim Imam Md. Omar Farooq in Roangchhari, Bandarban.

Today (June 24), in front of the police box in Ramgarh Bazar on Thursday morning, the hour-long human chain program, Alem Ulama of different madrasas of the upazila, Moazzen-Imam of the mosque, eminent personalities of social organizations took part in expressing solidarity.

The speakers in the human chain conveyed their condolences to Ruhel Maghfirat and the bereaved family of Shaheed Omar Farooq and said, "We cannot accept the brutal killing of simple and innocent new Muslim Omar Farooq."

What was his crime, why was he killed. Not only the neo-Muslim Imam Omar Farooq, so far in the Chittagong Hill Tracts, extremist hill terrorists have killed thousands of Bengalis. The people have not seen the trial of any of these murders. Speakers called on the government to arrest the killers of Omar Farooq quickly and ensure maximum punishment before the fires of the movement spread.
