The human chain was held at Shapla Chattar in the district town on Tuesday afternoon. Speakers on behalf of the Qawmi Madrasa and the Ulema Unity Council demanded six points and immediately brought the killers of Imam Nawaz Muslim Omar Farooq to justice and demanded severe punishment. At the same time, the speakers demanded the establishment of army camps in the hills, the recovery of weapons by conducting a perpetual operation and the cessation of Christian missionary activities in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
