A new destination for Bangladeshi cuisine has opened in Rome, Italy, with the official inauguration of “Prince Kebab & Restaurant.” The restaurant is located at Via Ciro Urbino 5, 00151 Rome, Italy, adjacent to the well-known Sylhet Fashion area, offering a diverse culinary experience for both locals and expatriates.

The inauguration ceremony was marked by a festive atmosphere, cultural presence, and joyful participation. Local business figures, members of the Bangladeshi expatriate community, and leaders from various social and political organizations were in attendance.

The formal opening of the restaurant began with prayers led by Maulana Humayun Rashid Raji and Maulana Jasim Uddin, under the supervision of the restaurant’s proprietor, Sajib Ahmed.

Sajib Ahmed, who has been living in Italy with his family for many years and is actively involved in culinary culture, stated:

“My goal is to present the authentic taste and culture of Bangladeshi food to the people living in Rome. We will prepare quality kebabs, tandoori chicken, biryani, and traditional Bangladeshi-style rice and curries, along with many other flavorful dishes.”

Among the community leaders present at the event were Arman Uddin Swapan, President of the Sylhet Division Nationalist Forum; Muslim Mia, General Secretary; Nurul Islam, Co-General Secretary; Minhaj Hossain, Organizing Secretary of Bangla Press Club Italy; and many others.

Special emphasis has been placed on preserving the heritage and authentic taste of Bangladeshi cuisine, while also presenting dishes in a style that aligns with Italian and international menu standards. Guests have already praised the food quality, ambiance, and hospitality.

Prince Kebab & Restaurant will now remain open daily, offering special breakfast options in the morning and a variety of menus for lunch and dinner. Both local residents and expatriates in Rome are hopeful that this new restaurant will soon become a popular culinary landmark.
