Discussion Meeting Held by Debidwar BNP Supporters in Maldives on Nomination of Engineer Manjurul Ahsan Munshi

A discussion and prayer ceremony was organized by the expatriate BNP supporters of Debidwar Upazila in the Maldives to celebrate the nomination of Alhaj Engineer Manjurul Ahsan Munshi, the former four-time Member of Parliament (MP) for the Cumilla-4 (Debidwar) constituency, as the BNP candidate for the upcoming National Parliamentary Elections.

The event, held on Tuesday night at 10 p.m. in a restaurant in Malé, the capital of the Maldives, was presided over by the proposed President of Maldives Juba Dal, Md. Ariful Islam. The chief guest at the event was Alhaj Engineer Manjurul Ahsan Munshi.

Barrister Rejviul Ahsan Munshi, former Senior Joint General Secretary of Cumilla North District BNP, spoke as a special guest virtually. In his address, he stated that all expatriates, including those present, must play a role in ensuring the victory of BNP-nominated candidate Manjurul Ahsan Munshi in the 13th National Parliamentary Elections from the Cumilla-4 Debidwar constituency by voting for the 'Sheaf of Paddy'.

The program was conducted by expatriate journalist Md. Al Amin. Abdur Rahman, Convener of Debidwar Upazila Juba Dal, and Md. Billal Hossain, Convener of Chhatra Dal, also spoke as special guests virtually.

The event was entirely managed by Borkamta Union Juba Dal leader Md. Jamaluddin, an expatriate in the Maldives. Greetings were delivered by Abdur Mannan, proposed General Secretary of Maldives Juba Dal, and Juba Dal leaders Abdul Jalil and Qaiyum Sikder.

A large number of expatriates were also present at the event, including Md. Jakir Hossain, Md. Ramjan Ali, Md. Masum, Md. Imran, Md. Firodus, and Md. Tanjil.

The event concluded with a dinner.
