Free Dental Camp Held in Bhanga with the Cooperation of Architect Mujahid Beg

A free dental camp was held in Bhanga, Faridpur, under the theme, "Say No to Paan, Supari, Zarda, and Smoking; Prevent Oral Cancer."
The day-long free dental camp took place on Saturday (September 11) at the Professor Abdul Wajed Mia High School grounds in Gharua Union. The event, presided over by Professor Abdul Wajed Mia and moderated by Md. Sourav Biswas, provided free dental care to nearly 1,000 people.
The camp was organized by the Anowara Mannan Beg Foundation.
Architect Mujahid Beg, an independent prospective Member of Parliament (MP) candidate for the Faridpur-4 constituency, was present as the chief guest.
Sources indicate that the medical camp was held throughout the day on Saturday at Professor Abdul Wajed High School in Gharua Union. Thirteen skilled dental surgeons provided services to people with dental problems. Patients received free dental treatment, as well as complimentary toothpaste and toothbrushes.
The Free Dental Care Camp was inaugurated by Architect Mujahid Beg, the General Secretary of the Anowara Mannan Beg Foundation and the independent candidate for Faridpur-4.
The head of the free camp's medical team, Dr. Rafiqus Salehin Beg Bappi, said, "Patients in the camp were thoroughly examined, and their problems were analyzed. In addition to primary medication, they were given toothpaste and toothbrushes." He advised everyone to brush regularly and drew attention to the fact that dental problems can lead to cancer, urging people not to neglect their oral health. He emphasized the importance of seeking a doctor's advice immediately upon noticing any dental issue and called on everyone to take care of their teeth.
Locals expressed happiness upon receiving the free dental care and extended their thanks and gratitude to the Anowara Mannan Beg Foundation and its associates for the initiative.
In response to a question from journalists at the event, Architect Mujahid Beg said, "Serving the people is my commitment. My true satisfaction lies in standing by the people and bringing back their smiles. Whether I become an MP or not does not matter. I want the love of every person. My service activities will continue."
He further informed the media, "The main purpose of this free dental care today is to serve the people. We have also organized free medical eye camps before. These humanitarian efforts are not being done for votes," Mujahid Beg stated, adding, "I love the residents of Gharua, so I have come to my beloved people and am serving them. I will continue to serve them in this way in the near future, Insha'Allah."
Other attendees at the event included Abdul Wajed Ali Mia, former professor of Bhanga Government K. M. College and founder president of the school, Mannan Member, Tokon Matubbar, Dabir Matubbar, Engineer Mustak Ahmed Nayeem from Chumurdi Union, Mahabur, student leader of Algi Union Md. Al-Amin, local dignitaries, and journalists from print and electronic media.
It is worth noting that, according to sources, under the leadership of Architect Mujahid Beg, nearly 36,000 people have been provided with free medical services in addition to the dental camp.
