37-Member Convening Committee of Zia Cyber Force Italy Announced: Sabbir as Convener, Jalilur as Member Secretary

The 37-member convening committee of the Zia Cyber Force (ZCF) Italy branch has been formally announced. Sabbir Ahmed from Sylhet has been appointed as the Convener, and Jalilur Rahman Jalil from Narsingdi has been nominated as the Member Secretary.

The committee was announced through a circular signed by the Chief Coordinator of the Zia Cyber Force Central Committee, Wahid-Chalory, Squadron Leader (Retd.), Chairman Nasif Wahid Faizul, and Secretary General Shafiqul Islam, on Friday, October 24.

Profiles of the New Leadership

Convener Sabbir Ahmed

 * Sabbir Ahmed carries a vibrant political past from Sylhet.

 * He is the former Organizing Secretary of the Chhatra Dal (BNP's student wing) at Madan Mohan University and College.

 * Currently, he serves as the President of the Greater Sylhet unit of the Nationalist Party (BNP) in Italy and is a two-time elected President of the Jalalabad Association, Italy.

 * He began his education at Barni Adarsha High School in Barlekha, later studied at the traditional The Aided High School in Sylhet, and then attended Madan Mohan University and College, where he gained his student politics experience.

 * He moved abroad in 2009 and settled in Italy.

Member Secretary Jalilur Rahman Jalil

 * Jalilur Rahman Jalil, a native of Narsingdi, has a long history of serving the BNP and its affiliated organizations both at home and abroad.

 * In Bangladesh, he served as President and General Secretary of Morjal Union Chhatra Dal, Vice-President of Raipura Upazila Chhatra Dal, Member of Narsingdi District Chhatra Dal, and a Convening Committee Member of Juba Dal (BNP's youth wing).

 * Abroad, he has held positions such as Assistant Publication Secretary of Italy BNP, Joint Secretary of Juba Dal, Joint Convener of the All-European Youth Forum, and Founding President of Narsingdi District BNP in Italy.

Committee's Core Objectives

The new committee leaders stated that the primary objective of this committee will be to build a strong digital resistance from abroad against the ongoing propaganda targeting the BNP.

They further emphasized that in the current context, digital platforms are the breeding ground for most of the malicious campaigns and conspiracies, and the Zia Cyber Force Italy branch will work diligently to counter them effectively.

Reactions from Expatriate BNP Leaders

Expatriate BNP activists welcomed the new committee and urged them to play an active role in disseminating accurate information and the party's message across social media platforms.

The leaders also announced that the Zia Cyber Force Italy branch will begin its full-fledged operations soon.
