World Environment Day: Rally and Sapling Distribution in Pirganj

A rally, discussion meeting, and sapling distribution were organized in Pirganj, Thakurgaon, to observe World Environment Day and the 41st founding anniversary of the Community Development Association (CDA), a development organization.

The Upazila Landless Coordination Council, in collaboration with CDA, arranged the program on Thursday afternoon at the Model Government Primary School grounds. Attendees included Pirganj Press Club President Zainal Abedin Babul, former Vice President Bulbul Ahmed, CDA Regional Coordinator Kawsarul Alam, Thakurgaon-3 Constituency Landless Coordination Council President Gajendra Nath Roy, Rafika Begum, Pirganj Upazila Council President Abinash Chandra Roy, CDA Village Facilitators Momota Ghosh, Dalim Hossain, Nowshad Hossain, and 400 beneficiaries (men and women).

Later, each participant received a free sapling.
