Russell Assures Employment Opportunities for Bangladeshi Expats at Inauguration of Caffe Carpe Diem 2 in Italy

Minhaj Hossain, Special Correspondent:

Bangladeshi expatriates in Italy are increasingly establishing new businesses alongside their existing work, fostering a rise in entrepreneurship. In Ostia, a popular seaside tourist city near Rome, restaurants and coffee shops are in high demand. Consequently, after Italians, Bangladeshis own the largest number of businesses in the area. Continuing this trend, prominent Bangladeshi businessman and General Secretary of Bangladesh Probashi Kallyan Parishad Italy, Atiqur Rahman Russell, officially inaugurated another one of his ventures, "Caffe Carpe Diem 2."

In a brief address, Atiqur Rahman Russell, the proprietor of the establishment, stated that the growth of such businesses not only creates employment opportunities for Bangladeshi expatriates but also significantly boosts Bangladesh's remittance flow. He assured that he would expand his businesses further in the future to generate more job opportunities for Bangladeshi expatriates.

The inaugural ceremony saw well-wishers from the Bangladeshi expatriate community in Rome, as well as Italian and other international citizens, extending their greetings and wishing success and longevity to the new establishment. Among those present were Minhaj Hossain, Joint General Secretary of Bangladesh Probashi Kallyan Parishad Italy and a journalist; Afroza Akter Daisy, a respected member of Probash Kontho Parishad, a prominent businesswoman, and a female entrepreneur; and Priyanka Hossain, a member.
