BNP Membership Renewal and Recruitment Begins in Pirganj

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has launched its membership renewal and primary member recruitment drive in Pirganj, Thakurgaon. The initiative commenced on Saturday afternoon at a joint expanded meeting of the Upazila (sub-district) and Municipal BNP committees held at the Purnima Community Center in Pirganj.

Zahidur Rahman Zahid, former Member of Parliament for Thakurgaon-3 constituency and President of the Upazila BNP, inaugurated the program. The meeting was presided over by Ruhul Amin, President of the Municipal BNP, and moderated by its Vice President, Asaduzzaman Chowdhury Manu.

Speakers at the event included Ziaur Islam Zia, General Secretary of the Upazila BNP; Advocate Zainal Abedin, President of the Thakurgaon District Bar Association; Rezaul Karim Raja, General Secretary of the Municipal BNP; Jillur Rahman Jewel, Joint General Secretary of the Upazila BNP; Jillur Chowdhury, Organizing Secretary of the Upazila BNP; UP Chairman Saidur Rahman; and Faruk Hossain, Organizing Secretary of the Municipal BNP, among others. Other leaders from the Upazila, Municipality, and Union BNP committees were also present at the occasion.
