Nuruzzaman Litton, Staff Reporter:
A woman from Jamalpur has been accused of deceiving and cheating in the temptation of marriage by leaving an Oman expatriate boy in Sylhet's Biswanath sub-district.
The complaint written in some press clubs in the country on last November 19,2024, Tuesday, that Oman expatriate youth was cheated.
The name of the victim is Sahab Uddin (34). He has been staying in Oman since 2016.
And the accused is that woman's name is Bithi (37). She is known to be the daughter of Afsar Ali of Dalbari village of Dewanganj sub-district of Jamalpur district.
The allegation sources reported, her first introduction with the accused woman Bithi on 26 May 2019. The boy named Sahab Uddin (Sihab) from Sylhet was going to Qatar from Oman and the cheater girl from Jordan goes to Qatar.
The boy was sitting in the back seat of the girl in the plane. It is a little bit of words. Introduction is. Phone numbers are transactions. After this, Bithi and Sahab Uddin (Sihab) reached Dhaka in a big flight of Qatar Air. The girl calls Sahab Uddin after coming to the country. He said, he was in Jordan for 7-8 years, now he has come to the country. She doesn't have a mother. There is a boy. Husband divorced her. The boy falls in love with Bithi's magical words. After this, again go to Oman, Sahab Uddin.
While Sahab Uddin is in Oman, his talk continues with Bithi who is in the country. Bithi's life continues with the money of Sahab Uddin. One day the girl says you take me to Oman. I will be with you. I won't live in the country, won't live without you, if I don't get you, I will rope you around my throat.
The boy is in trouble after hearing these things and saying that you don't have my wedding paper. Then how will I bring it to this country. Then the girl asked to send visa to the country. Even if the boy doesn't understand anything about this, he should arrange another person's visa and take him to Oman. And Bithi makes a new passport, put Sahab Uddin in the strategy as a husband.
After taking Bithi to Oman, Sihab didn't feel safe to keep her in Oman due to Bithi's negative activity. For whom he is forced to send Bithi to the country later. And where Shihab used to work comfortably in Oman, he also had to leave that job because of Bithi.
After that, in various dramatics, the girl embraced about 12 lakh taka to Sahab Uddin's Shihab in the last six years.
At last, that girl is making her family as a married son Sujan alias Jihad from Mithapur of Badalgachi Upazila of Naogaon district. Those jihad also have a wife named Ayesha. Jihad caught hand by throwing him away. That's why Ayesha wants justice for Jihad and Bithi.
This is the matter when I talked to Sihab Hossain of Biswanath, Sylhet, who is in Oman, he informed that the girl (Bithi) cheated me and ruined my life. He stopped contacting me with all the hard earned income of my expatriate life in many ways. Bithi's so-called husband Jihad, Bithi's brother Masood and Bithi's son are involved in this cheating. They threatened me to murder on mobile phone. I can't take action against them because I'm abroad. Request to the administration to bring those fraudulent girls and their associates under the law and arrange exemplary punishment. So that no one else dares to cheat like this.
Bithi's so-called husband Jihad's first wife Ayesha, for that crooked woman my husband abused me and left me. I have a little son my husband doesn't pay me until his expense. I couldn't complain about legal action under work pressure. I'll take legal action for A. I want their justice.
When Bithi went to the house of Bithi's present husband of Mithapur UP of Naogaon Badalgachi Upazila and asked Bithi about this, he denied these lies. I'm being trapped.
If you want to know about the fair judgement regarding the allegations of Sahab Uddin (Sihab), the coordinator of Bangladesh Human Rights Implementation Foundation Sylhet District Branch Md. Rahim Chowdhury Farhad said that what the girl has done is true, it is very unfair. This should be justice. Expatriates are our remittance warriors. If they complain to us about anything or ask for help, overall support will be given.
Md. Rubel Mia, the officer in-charge (OC) of Sylhet, said no complaint was received regarding this. Heard it from you. Legal action will be taken regarding the investigation if complaint and evidence is received.
