Mamunur Rashid was elected president of Bhanga Press Club

The editor of Bhangar Khabar Patrika has been elected as the new president of Bhanga Press Club of Faridpur district. Mamunur Rashid. This decision was taken in an emergency meeting at the temporary office of Bhanga Press Club on Saturday afternoon.

Bhanga Press Club senior vice-president Shahadat Hossain presided over the meeting based on the consensus of all the journalists present and by consensus he was assigned the post of president as a senior journalist.

Bhanga Press Club General Secretary Haji Saifullah Shamim, Organizing Secretary MM Asad Munshi, Joint Secretary Sanwar Hossain, Alam Munshi, Mohammad Imran Munshi were present.

Among other members of the press club present were Mahmudul Haque Bahar, Jamal Uddin, Zakaria Khan, Saidur Rahman, Tariqul Islam, Shaheen Mia, Akhtaruzzaman Master, Shanto, Saiful Islam, Salman Islam, Sagar Munshi, Sohag Mia, Roni Mia, Rabbi Hossain, Russell Biswas, Pritam Sarkar, Sumon Hossain etc.

Also present, the organizing secretary of the Central Committee of the Bangladesh Hero Freedom Fighters Command. Sakhawat Hossain.

It is to be noted that Abdul Mannan, the elected president of Bhanga Press Club, has repeated anti-organizational activities and is trying to lead other organizations by ignoring the opinions of all members. An embarrassment was created in the party over the issue. For that reason, when an emergency meeting of the broken press club was organized, all the members present distrusted him (Mannan) in the meeting. All the members of the Bhanga Press Club were later relieved and replaced by Senior Journalist Mamunur Rashid.
