2 drug dealers arrested with Phencidil

Two drug peddlers were arrested with 150 bottles of Phencidil in the operation of DB Police in Bhanga of Faridpur.

According to sources, 2 drug dealers were arrested in front of Alamgir member's rickshaw garage in Pukuria of Manikdah Union yesterday at 9:30 pm.

The arrested are - Md. Russell Mia (28), father- Md. Idris Ali, Sang- Shantinagar, Thana-Darshana and

Md. Saiful Islam Shibalu (35), father-deceased Sirajul Islam, Sang-Shingnagar, Thana-Jiwan Nagar, District-

Chuadanga Both of them were arrested by the police with 150 bottles of Fensidil.

A case under the Narcotics Control Act was registered against the arrested at Banga police station. whose case no-03, dated 02/12/2023 AD.

On the other hand, the local conscious community claims that the young people of the rising age of the area are suffering more due to the terrible scourge of drugs.

On the condition of anonymity, the source also said that some people in this area are involved in drug trade even outside the country. Among them they mentioned Mehdi, Biplab of Khankanda Nazirpur.

The local residents wanted strong intervention of the administration to save the young generation.
