A rapist arrested for raping a disabled person by threatening to slaughter him in Pirganj

A 17-year-old disabled person was raped in Pirganj of Thakurgaon. She was raped by cutting the rope of the gate fence and threatening to slaughter her with a kati (stick type) inside. In this incident, on Monday morning, the police arrested the rapist Mostakin (19) and sent him to jail. Son of Hamidul Haque of Kusharigaon village of Mostakin Upazila.

According to the case, on the afternoon of September 21, in Kusharigaon village, the parents kept the 17-year-old disabled girl inside a bamboo shed and locked the door to cut grass for the cows. At that time, Mostakin of the same area cut the rope of the fence of one corner of the house, entered inside and threatened to slaughter the disabled person by raping him and leaving him in a bloody state. Later her parents came home and rescued the daughter and admitted her to the upazila health center.

In this incident, the father of the disabled person filed a rape case against the rapist Mostakin at the police station on Sunday night. On Monday, the police arrested the rapist and sent him to jail through the court and arranged for the victim's medical and DNA tests.

Confirming the matter, Abdul Latif Sheikh, OC of Pirganj Police Station, said that the rapist was arrested and sent to jail, along with the victim's medical and DNA tests.
