Darul Arkam Teachers Welfare Association condoles the death of Allama Yahya

A condolence message has been released by the Central Committee of Bangladesh Darul Arkam Teacher Welfare Association on the death of Allama Shah Muhammad Yahya, Director General of Darul Uloom Muinul Islam Hathazari Madrasa.

A condolence message was released today, Saturday (June 3).

Central Committee President Mufti Zainul Abedin, General Secretary Mufti Munawar Hussain (Convener of Badashiks Muktijoddha Issin Sangsad), ICT Secretary Maulana Rashedul Islam (Chittagong Divisional President) and Vice President Maulana Abdur Rahim Al Qaderi (Chittagong Divisional General Secretary) are the central leaders. Expressing deep grief, he prayed for the forgiveness of the soul of the deceased and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family members, colleagues, students, devotees and muridans.

In the condolence message, referring to the long religious service of the deceased, the leaders said, the country and the nation suffered an irreparable loss in the death of a wise, bureaucratic and universally accepted, respected scholar like him.

Darul Arkam teachers especially remember that the Honorable State Minister of Religion Alhaj Md. Mr. Faridul Haque Khan MP during his visit to Hathajari Madrasa during his visit to Chittagong specially recommended the "Darul Arkam Ibtedayi Madrasa Establishment and Management Project" to be implemented quickly and to start the salary and allowance of the clerical teachers and requested the government through the Minister of State.

On behalf of the Central Committee, the Badashiks Chittagong District Committee and the teachers of Chittagong have been requested to participate in the necessary activities including participating in the prayers of the deceased, providing consolation to his family members and relatives.

It is to be noted that Allama Shah Muhammad Yahya was suffering from various ailments for the past few days.

Went to Bangkok last May 16 for better treatment. He recently returned home after receiving treatment from there.

On Thursday, when his physical condition deteriorated, he was taken to Chittagong's CSCR Hospital. When the condition worsened there, he was taken to the United Hospital in Gulshan, Dhaka. He was on life support there. He passed away at United Hospital at 1:20 pm on Friday.
