The bi-annual conference of Bangladesh Press Club Faridpur district branch was held at 11 am at Kavi Jasim Uddin Hall of Faridpur on Tuesday (June 20) keeping in mind the slogan of awakening journalists of all levels in the spirit of liberation war.

All the members elected Mamunur Rashid, Faridpur district representative of daily Ajker Darpan newspaper, as the senior vice president of Bangladesh Press Club Faridpur district branch in the conference held.

Faridpur District Council Chairman Md. Shahadat Hossain was present as the chief guest in the bi-annual conference of Bangladesh Press Club.

Bangladesh Press Club Central Committee Founder President Farid Khan was present as the inaugural function.
