Monteverde people in Italy organized the Eid Purnamilani in a colorful way

The residents of Monteverde have organized an Eid reunion with expatriate Bangladeshis living in the historic city of Italy, Rome, in order to find a little entertainment in spite of the busy work of the diaspora and to keep the bond of brotherhood intact. The ceremony was held in the grounds of the Pompili Park in Sani, Rome, surrounded by the greenery of the natural environment.
The event started with the prayer of Khatib Maulana Md Abdullah Bhuiyan of Baitur Noor Jame Masjid and the national anthems of Bangladesh and Italy at the initiative of the people of Monteverde.
Under the chairmanship of community personality Ratan Shikder, under the joint management of Hamidur Rahman Bullet and Raees Uddin Rakib, the overall supervision of the program was Sohail Rana and Shaheen Hossain.
At that time, around seven hundred expatriate Bangladeshis including Rome's regional, social, businessmen and jobbers including one of Monteverde's coaches Shahidullah Akhtar, Mofiz Talukder, Monir Bhuia, Riaz Molla, Aminul Islam, Monir Hossain, Ali Hasan, Farhad Islam Ratan were present as guests.
The leaders in the short speech praised Bhuasi for coming together to overcome the monotony of expatriate life and share the joy of Eid. Besides, through such arrangements, the generation growing up abroad and foreigners will also get to know Bengali culture and art.
The day-long event included women's pillow game, men's bone breaking, children's running competition, various local sports and raffle draw through lottery.
At the end the sports and raffle draws were honored by distribution of attractive prizes among the winners.
