Allegation of theft of school fan and bell against night watchman in Badalgashi

Upazila Prmary Education Officer Amirul Islam has filed a complaint against Arman Hossain Rubel, the office-cum-night guard of Badalgachi Model Government Primary School in Naogaon district, for stealing 23 fans and bells of the school. Even though the same person repeatedly stole the school's goods, the theft was mysteriously covered up by an influential circle. The role of the Office of Primary Education remains mysterious.

According to school sources, all government primary schools in the country were on holiday from April 6 to April 26 on the occasion of Ramadan fast and Idul Fitr. Officials visited the school on April 25 to see the overall situation of the school as the government instructed to open the school on April 27. 1 fan in each class room and remaining 23 ceiling fans are missing. Talking to the night watchman about the theft of the fan, the headmaster got no response. On April 27, the night watchman left after opening the school, then he came to the school once on Wednesday, May 3, and then he did not come again.

The school authorities also said that the matter was immediately reported to the school president, upazila executive officer and upazila education officer.

After discussing with the education officer when the school started, the primary education officer filed a complaint against the night watchman of the school, Arman Hossain Rubel, at the Badalgachi police station in connection with the theft of 23 fans of the school on Sunday, April 30th.

Locals said that this school has been stolen 4/5 times in a row by the night watchman. The incident has been repeatedly covered up due to lobbying by influential circles.

Locals also said that Arman Hossain Rubel is a drug addict. He was given a job in the school because of political power. Earlier, he was also detained by police with drugs. Even after committing crimes repeatedly, the authorities do not take any action against him. Arman Hossain Rubel, the family of the night watchman, is managing the upazila education officer along with the head teacher, president of the school by showing their political power. And to collect drug money, he repeatedly steals various things from school. And managed and covered up the matter in different ways from his family.

In this regard, Badalgachi Upazila Education Officer Amirul Islam said, a complaint has been made to the police station by the Badalgachi Model Government Primary School.

He also said that the headmaster of the school has been asked to take necessary action by dismissing the night watchman. I have also asked the OC to investigate and take action. Badalgachi Model Government Primary School office-cum-night watchman Arman Hossain could not be reached when contacted.

The headmaster of Badalgachi Model Government Primary School said that a complaint has been made to the police station in this regard. Arman Hossain Rubel has been mourned in the case of theft. He has not come to school since last 27th. Condolences sent through post office.

Abdul Razzak, president of Badalgachi Model Government Primary School, said, "You may have heard that he has done this kind of activity before." He stole again. He has been suspended. Proceeding administratively.

Badalgachi police station officer-in-charge (OC) Atiyar Rahman admitted the truth of the incident and said that he received a written complaint about the theft in the school. Action will be taken after investigation. Arman Hussain Rubel, the night watchman, was arrested several times earlier for intoxication.

Badalgachi Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Alpana Yasmin first went into the matter and later admitted the truth and said that the headmaster of the school Rezanur Rahman Chowdhury informed me about the theft. The headmaster will take necessary action in this regard.
