Jalalabad Pravasi Kalyan Parishad's Iftar mahfil call to highlight Bangladesh's position among Italians

In the holy month of Ramadan, the Jalalabad Expatriate Welfare Council organized an iftar and doa mahfil at Tarpinattara Muslim Center Jame Masjid in Rome in the presence of about 600 Muslims in honor of the Italian fasting people.Md. Ashfakur Rahman, Second Secretary (Political) of the Rome Embassy was the chief guest at the iftar party organized on Monday under the chairmanship of ATM Shahjahan, the president of the organization and under the direction of Minhaj Hossain, the general secretary. In his speech, the chief guest unitedly requested to highlight the position of Bangladesh among the Italians.
Zainal Abedin, Advisor of the organization, thanked all the guests including the honorable guests.
Senior Italian personalities Bangla Press Club Italy Chief Advisor Bir Muktijodha Lutfur Rahman, Italy Awami League Vice President Shahjahan Munsi Labu, Bangladesh Immigrant Bimas President Muktar Hossain Mark, Bangladesh National Sports Association Italy General Secretary Abdur Rashid, Joint General Secretary were present as guests. In a short speech, the president and general secretary of the organization thanked everyone for their cooperation in conducting Islamic activities along with other activities of the organization and urged them to work unitedly for the development and interests of the expatriates in the coming days.
At the Iftar party, TMC's Khatib Maulana Humayun Rashid Razi, in an Islamic discussion, spoke about life changes during Ramadan, the month of self-purification. After the short Islamic discussion, before the Iftar, special prayers and prayers were offered for the soul of the late father of the President of Jalalabad Expatriate Welfare Parishad and the late father of the General Secretary and for the peace of all the Muslim Ummah at home and abroad.
