On Tuesday (March 21), the rally started from the Bhanga Eidgah Madrasa Mosque.
The rally led by Abdul Hannan Matubbar, President of Islamic Movement Bhanga Upazila Branch, went around the main main road of the city and ended in front of the Eidgah Mosque in front of the police station. Rally is held to protect the sanctity of Ramadan. The slogans in the rally were to stop the increase in commodity prices, not to eat and drink in public during the day, to stop open selling in hotels and restaurants, to stop men and women from walking freely, to stop naked promiscuity, and it is the religious duty of Muslims.
Alhaj Habibur Rahman, Bhanga Thana Mujahid Committee's Zimmadar (Chadar), Bhanga Municipal Councilor Mohammad Zakir Hossain Munsi, 9th Ward participated in the rally and discussion meeting.
Leaders of the Islamic movement of 12 unions and devout Muslims were also present.
General Secretary of Bhanga Upazila Islami Andolan Mohammad Asaduzzaman Asad conducted the discussion.
The rally and discussion meeting was organized by Islami Andolan Bangladesh Bhanga Upazila branch.
