On the occasion of the upcoming World Diabetes Day on November 14, the Pirganj Diabetes Hospital Committee held a press conference with the working journalists of Thakurgaon's Pirganj, Ranishankail and Haripur upazilas. The press conference was held in the meeting room of the Diabetes Hospital on Saturday morning. Vice President of Pirganj Diabetic Association and Municipal Mayor Birmuktijoddha Ikramul Haque addressed the press conference, founder and vice-principal of Pirganj Diabetes Hospital Faizul Islam, Ranishankoil Press Club (Old) President Anarul Islam, Pirganj Press Club President Zainal Abedin Babul, former President Meher Elahi, Vice President Kazi Nurul Islam, General Secretary Nasrete Khoda Rana, Pirganj Upazila Anti Corruption Committee General Secretary Journalist Mokadesh Hayat Milan, Pirganj Diabetes Association Finance Secretary Soleman Ali, Ranishongkail Press Club President Farooq Hossain, Former President Mobarak Ali, General Secretary Anwar Hossain Akash, Former General Secretary Mohammad Biblab, President of Haripur Upazila Press Club Kabirul Islam, Joint Editor of Pirganj Press Club Bishnupad Roy, Journalist Badal Hossain etc.

It was informed in the press conference, on the occasion of 20th Diabetes Day, on Monday morning, a rally, road meeting and honors will be given to three freedom fighters, ideal teachers, journalists and ideal diabetes patients.
