Doa mahfil was held in Maldives to wish Begum Khaleda Zia's health, longevity and disease relief.

This prayer ceremony and discussion is organized by Maldives BNP to pray for the health, long life and freedom from diseases of Begum Khaleda Zia, wife of the founder of BNP martyred president Ziaur Rahman, former three-time prime minister, BNP chairperson and national leader, and for the forgiveness of the souls of those who died due to various diseases including Corona. The meeting was held.

This prayer meeting was held at 2:30 pm on Friday, October 14, in the hall of the National University of Maldives.

BNP Central Committee International Affairs Secretary and Saudi Arabia BNP convener Ahmed Ali Muqib was present as the chief guest in the event.

In the speech of the chief guest, Ahmed Ali Mukib thanked and congratulated him for playing a protest role against the Awami government by holding protests and demonstrations at various times.

He called upon all the nationalist Zia soldiers living in the Maldives to unite and strengthen the hand of Begum Khaleda Zia in the diaspora. He also expressed hope that Maldives BNP will play a leading role in protesting against all the undemocratic dictatorial activities of the Awami-Bakshali government in the future as in the past.

Under the chairmanship of Maldives BNP President Khalilur Rahman, Saudi Arab Youth Party President, Abdul Mannan, Maldives BNP Senior Vice President Neher Mia Rana, Maldives BNP General Secretary, Zahirul Islam, Banker Kashedul Islam were present as special guests in the ceremony.

Conducted by Joint General Secretary, Rabiul Alam, Vice President of Maldives BNP, Director of Dhaka Trades Md. Babul Hossain, Vice President Md. Farooq Feni, Rafiqul Islam, Organizing Secretary, Publicity Secretary Khalilur Rahman Chandpuri, Md. Azad, were also present in the said event. NR Monir Hossain, Mohammad Ali, Md Shariful Islam, Md Qayyum and many other local journalists were present.
