A day-long "Eye Treatment Camp" was conducted under the initiative of Khagrachari Baytush Complex

"Eye Treatment Camp" was held with the overall cooperation of Cox's Bazar Baitush Sharaf Eye Hospital and the initiative of Khagrachari Baitush Complex.

This eye treatment camp was held today (October 15) Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm at Khagrachari Baitush Complex.

 The medical camp was inaugurated by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) of Khagrachari district Mr. Golam Mohammad Baten.

Director General of Cox's Bazar Baitush Sharaf Educationist MM Sirajul Islam was present as a special guest in the opening ceremony held under the chairmanship of Alhaj Liaqat Ali Chowdhury, President of the Management Committee at Khagrachari Baitush Sharaf Complex.

 In the speech of the chief guest, the Additional Deputy Commissioner said, medical assistance is a great humanitarian work. Through this program, many helpless poor people are benefiting. In addition to treatment for eye protection, we need to eat more vegetables and fruits. He highly appreciated the program and assured all kind of cooperation from the government.

 A team of 14 doctors and associate members of Cox's Bazar Baytush Sharaf Eye Hospital provided medical assistance to more than a thousand eye patients throughout the day. 41 patients were taken to Cox's Bazar Baitush Sharaf Hospital in their own vehicles for advanced treatment free of charge.
