People of Comilla gave a mass reception to the MP of Comilla Sadar-6 Constituency in Italy.

 A mass reception and discussion meeting was held at the initiative of Comilla Division Implementation Council Europe on the occasion of the arrival of Comilla Sadar-6 Constituency MP Bir Muktijodha A.M.

Under the chairmanship of journalist Maksud Rahman, general secretary of Greater Comilla Samiti Venice, Shahadat Hossain and president of Venice Bangla Music, Azad Khan, were present as the chief guest at the reception. At the beginning of the program, national anthem and silence was observed in memory of all the martyrs.

Quddus Chowdhury, the distinguished businessman of Venice, Abul Kalam Azad, chairman of ANS International Company, prominent businessman Md. Nasir Uddin, political personality Abdul Mannan, Convenor of Comilla Division Implementation Committee Muhammad Ali Bhutto of France Branch, President of Venice Bangla School Syed Kamrul Sarwar, Vice President of Venice Awami League Kishore Khandkar.

Greater Comilla Association Venice Acting President Sharif Mridha, Padova Bangladesh Cultural Association President Humayun Kabir, Padova City Councilor Nahid Hossain Ribin, Greater Dhaka Association Venice General Secretary Mostak Ahmed, Kishoreganj District Association Venice General Secretary Moshiur Rahman Venice Bangla School General Secretary Sohela spoke at the meeting. The meeting was attended by Venice's political and social businessmen and leaders of various regional associations, as well as local journalists.

In the discussion meeting, the chief guest said, "We want Comilla division under the name of Comilla." I would like to say from this meeting, everyone thought this demand was Bahar's demand, actually it is not Bahar's demand, it is the demand of 6 million people of Comilla through Bahar's mouth. Speakers praised Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's courageous leadership for the successful implementation of the Padma Multipurpose Bridge construction project.
