A large public meeting was held on the initiative of Islami Andolan Bangladesh Cox's Bazar district branch to demand permanent peace of the country, increase of economic resources and establishment of a benevolent Islamic state.

Today (September 16) this rally was held at Juma Cox's Bazar Public Hall Maidan.

Under the chairmanship of district president Maulana Muhammad Ali and moderated by Maulana Shoaib, Amir Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim (Pir Sahib Charmonai) of Islami Andolan Bangladesh spoke as the chief guest.

Islami Andolan Naib Amir Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim commented that corruption in the country has not stopped in the 51 years of independence. Good governance and justice have not been established in the country due to the corruption occupying important positions in the government and the state. Syndicate rule is going on all over the country due to corrupt people. If the country cannot be freed from corruption, the blood-sucking syndicate cannot be stopped. It was said that there will be no difference between the poor, the rich, the owners and the workers, the government party and the opposition party. There will be no religious discrimination. But in the 51 years of independence, the differences have reached extreme levels. There is no equality, human rights and good governance. Thousands of people are living under the open sky. Ashraful Makhlukat people fighting for food with crows and dogs under open sky next to dustbins. Thousands of people are crying for clothes, medical treatment. Where is the equality today?

Islami Andolan Bangladesh is struggling to return votes and people's rights in various fields including national parliament elections and UP elections. No one gives rights, rights have to be earned. The current government has taken away the voting rights of the people. Voting has become an unknown word today. Islami Andolan Amir Pir Saheb Charmonai of Bangladesh is continuing the efforts of a national united movement to restore the voting rights of the people and to form a welfare state free from corruption, drugs and terrorism.
