The Jaipurhat Judge Court sentenced a youth named Nazmul Hossain to death within 16 days in the case of heroin possession.

August 10, Wednesday afternoon Additional District and Sessions Judge Md. Golam Sarwar gave this verdict.

Convicted Nazmul Hossain is the son of Yusuf Ali Mandal of Champadal village of historic Paharpur UP of Badalgachi upazila of Naogaon district.

According to the details of the case, on January 19, 2021, RAB conducted an operation in Rukindipur Union Parishad area of ​​Akkelpur Upazila after receiving secret information about the sale of drugs.

At that time, Nazmul was arrested with about 55 grams of heroin. The price of which is about 5 lakhs. When a case was filed in the police station, he gave false information to the court and escaped on bail. DB Police arrested him from Jamalganj Bazar on July 24.

Sent to court the next day. After that within 16 days the charges against him were proved and the learned court gave this judgment today.
