Awami League leader Daisy's tribute on the birth anniversary of Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnessa
Minhaj Hossain Special Representative:
Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib was a unique and noble woman. He quietly worked for the freedom of the Bengali nation. Awami League leader Afroza Akhtar Daisy said this in a statement paying tribute to Fazilatunnesa Mujib on the occasion of his 92nd birth anniversary on August 8.
He said, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib was averse to campaigning. He kept Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman like a shadow. While her husband, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was in prison, Fazilatunnessa Mujib devotedly organized the Bengali nation in silence and carried forward the Bengali independence movement, the struggle for independence. His contribution was not actually published as such. But today we can learn a lot from history. If not for him, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman might not have achieved such a huge achievement.
We love Bangabandhu and Awami League. We also say goodbye to Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesha from abroad. And cherishing the Mujib ideology, I will fight on the streets to strengthen the hands of Awami League and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the future.
