 The body of Mohammad Kauser (15), a madrasa student, went missing after bathing in Fatikchhari Upazila Sadar Dharung River. The incident took place at around 12:30 pm on Friday, July 1 on the east side of the Dhurung river bridge on the Upazila Sadar Chittagong-Khagrachhari highway. He is the son of Muhammad Khaled of Haji Sirajul Haque Mistri Bari, Ward 7 of Fatikchhari Municipality and a seventh class student of Fatikchhari Jamiul Uloom Fazil (Degree) Madrasa in the upazila. Municipal Mayor Alhaj Ismail Hossain rushed to the spot.

Eyewitnesses Saikat Alam and Babu said, "We were sitting on the bank of the river when Kausar left his clothes and ran into the river." About 50 feet further from there; He was drowning when he raised his hand and moved it. After a while he went away and drowned. At that time, when they informed the locals, the locals went in search of Kauser with nets and dives.

Upon receiving the news, the personnel of Fatikchhari Fire Service rushed to the spot. Fire Station Leader Md. Kamal Uddin said, "We got the news around one o'clock in the afternoon and came to the spot and started the operation." Since we do not have a diving system, we ask the divers to come from Agrabad.

Meanwhile, a three-member diving team led by Agrabad Fire Service leader Md Manik Uddin arrived at around 3 pm and started the rescue operation. During the rescue operation, the locals cooperated with the boat. Finally, the divers of the fire service recovered the body of the missing Kausar around 5 pm. During this time, the long defenses of thousands of men and women on both sides of the river came to an end. When the body is taken up from the river, a heartbreaking scene is incarnated in the presence of relatives.
