A young woman was raped in Mahadevpur of Naogaon district. After the rape, the girl fell seriously ill and was admitted to Naogaon Government Medical College Hospital.

Doctors said she had to donate four bags of blood due to excessive bleeding caused by the rape.

The victim is undergoing treatment at Naogaon Medical College Hospital.

Sushant Pahan, the lone accused in the case, was arrested from a house in Maymar Dighi area of ​​Cheragpur Union on Friday night after a case was filed under Section 9 (1) of the Women and Child Abuse Prevention Act at Mahadevpur Police Station on Friday night. Arrested.

The arrested Sushant Pahan is the son of Lakshan Pahan of Dhanjail Bara Maheshpur Janglipara village in Cheragpur union of Mahadevpur upazila of Naogaon district.

According to the family sources of the rape victim and the victim, when the girl (24) went out of the house to respond to the call of nature around 7:30 pm on Thursday, her neighbor Sushant Pahan grabbed her face and forcibly took her to his house. Accused Sushant Pahan fled when people came forward shouting at the girl.

 Later, the locals rescued him in critical condition and admitted him to Naogaon Medical College Hospital.

Mahadevpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Azam Uddin Mahmud admitted the incident and said that the only accused in the case Sushant Pahan has been arrested and sent to Naogaon Jail through the court.
