Badalgachhi Naogaon district court order to delay the filing of the case, Badalgachhi police officer in charge. The court has ordered Atiqul Islam to show cause.

 Naogaon Senior Judicial Magistrate Saiful Islam issued the order on Wednesday, May 11.


Rezaul Karim, a bench assistant of the Naogaon Senior Judicial Magistrate's Court, admitted the truth of the matter. A plaintiff named Nurul Islam filed a complaint in the Naogaon Senior Judicial Magistrate's Court against six persons including Md. Farooq. The court directed the plaintiff to file the case within 24 hours of receiving the order.


He added that the officer-in-charge of Badalgachhi police station filed the case 12 days after receiving the court order. That is why the court ordered him to appear in person on May 22 and show cause, asking why he would not be punished on the charge of Section 29 of the Police Act.

 

The court ruled that the matter was tantamount to contempt of court and contempt of court. In the order, the court said that the officer-in-charge of Badalgachhi police station had shown audacity by deliberately disobeying the valid order of the court.

That is why the court ordered him to appear in person on May 22 and show cause, asking why he would not be punished on the charge of Section 29 of the Police Act.

According to court sources, on April 10, Nurul Islam filed a complaint against Farooq and six others. On the same day, after examining the injured, he directed the officer-in-charge of Badalgachhi police station to file a case within 24 hours of receiving the complaint under section 158 (3) of the Criminal Code. The order was sent to the Nezarat branch on April 11 from the court.

The Nezarat branch order was later sent to the Badalgachhi police station on April 26 through the post office on April 21, where a policeman named Selim signed and received the letter. Later on May 8, the complaint application was submitted to the police station as a case by the officer in charge of Badalgachhi police station Md. Atiqul Islam.

In this regard, in-charge of Badalgachhi police station Md. Atiqul Islam said that the reason for delay in filing case in wise court will be answered.
