Police arrested two persons including a drug dealer in Naogaon

Raninagar police in Naogaon district conducted separate raids and arrested two persons including a drug dealer.

They were arrested on Saturday night, May 21 and sent to jail by the court on Sunday (May 22) morning.

Raninagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahin Akand said a drug dealer named Habir Munshi (50) was arrested on Saturday night in Dhanpara area of ​​Mirat Union of the upazila on a tip-off. A drug case has been filed against him during the night. Hubir Munshi is the son of late Kabir Munshi of Dhanpara village.

Besides, Shahinur Islam, son of Abdus Samad of Kashimpur village of the upazila was arrested on the same night. There was an arrest warrant in a case against him.
