Representative Conference '2022' has been held on the occasion of formation of all Upazila Committees under Chittagong Hill Tracts Student Council (PCCP) Khagrachhari District Branch.

The delegates' conference was held in the hall room of FNF restaurant in Khagrachhari municipality on Sunday (May 8) morning.

   Central Secretary for Religious Affairs Md. Ibrahim Khalil presided over the function and Sumon Ahmed presided over as the chief guest. Advocate Alam Khan, Legal Secretary and SM Masum Rana, General Secretary of the Central Committee were present as special negotiators.

 Special guests were Asadullah Asad, General Secretary of Central Committee, Salma Ahmed Mau, Chairperson of Central Committee of CHT Mahila Parishad, Abdul Majid, President of Khagrachhari District Committee of CHT Citizens Council and Lokman Hossain, General Secretary.

  Speaking as the chief guest, Sheikh Ahmed Raju said that peace has not been established in the Chittagong Hill Tracts even after a long time of the peace agreement. Terrorists are constantly killing, raping, robbing, kidnapping and extortion. I want to liberate the innocent unarmed people of Chittagong Hill Tracts from this suffocating situation. He called upon all to work in unity for the establishment of non-communal Chittagong Hill Tracts and peace.

Committees of 6 upazilas including Dighinala, Panchhari, Manikchhari and Mahalchhari were announced at the conference.
