In Naogaon, a case has been filed against the husband for claiming wife in a fake cabinet

In Naogaon, a young woman has filed a case against a man named Mahmudunnabi Belal (44) and his associates for trying to take her to his house claiming to be his wife by showing fake cabinet letter and affidavit.

The victim filed the case with Naogaon Sadar Model Police Station on Friday, May 13.

The girl filed a case against three persons including Mahmudun Nabi Belal and unknown persons in the case. The accused in the case is Mahmudunnabi Belal, a resident of Bailshing village in Manda upazila of Naogaon. The other accused are Kazi Rafiqul Islam, a marriage registrar of ward 4 of Naogaon municipality and Lutfar Rahman, a resident of Lakhaijani village in Naogaon Sadar upazila.

According to the statement of case, the victim (28) is a resident of Par-Naogaon area of ​​Naogaon city. Mahmudunnabi Belal introduced himself as a journalist and for a long time befriended the girl's father in the name of cooperation.

Belal used to visit the girl's house from time to time on the pretext of friendship with his father. On May 5, Belal came to the house of the girl and showed her the marriage certificate signed by Kazi Rafiqul Islam and an affidavit to the Naogaon Notary Public, claiming that the girl was his wife.

But when the girl refused to go with him, claiming that the marriage certificate and affidavit were fake, Belal tried to take her home with the help of terrorists.

Following the incident, the girl filed a complaint under Sections 406, 420, 465, 46, 461 and 34 of the Penal Code alleging forgery of fake cabinet letter, making notary public affidavit, fraud and attempting to illegally seize property.

The victim said, "My father is a freedom fighter. He is an old sick man. Belal introduced himself as a journalist and befriended him by talking about various collaborations including land related work. I never had a deep relationship with him.

One day, Belal suddenly showed me the cabinet letter and affidavit and claimed that I was his wife and tried to force me out of the house. '

The girl's father said, "I have written off property worth around Rs 2 crore in my daughter's name. Belal finds out about this and is claiming my daughter as his wife by showing fake cabinet letter and affidavit to seize the property. Others, including Kazi of the marriage registry, have cooperated with him in greed for money. I am demanding exemplary punishment for that fraudulent group including Belal. '

Asked about the allegations, Mahmudunnabi Belal claimed, "He married her with the consent of the girl." Now he is denying the matter under the pressure of his family.

That is why I have filed a case in the court to rescue my wife. The girl's father has recently written off some land for her and there is my name as her husband. I have all the valid documents

Asked about this, Naogaon Sadar Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Nazmul Haque confirmed the veracity of the case and said that a young woman from Par-Naogaon area of ​​Naogaon had filed a case alleging that she was his wife in a fake cabinet. The matter is being investigated. If found guilty, legal action will be taken against the accused.
