Detained- 4 at Panchbibibi in the time of snatching of identity of DB police.

 Police have arrested four snatchers during the robbery at Panchbibi in Joypurhat.

 They were detained on the main road  Joypurhat to Hili, some distance from Bagjana Bazar in Panchbibi upazila.

 The arrested are Sagar, 32, son of Abdul Jalil of Manik area under Panchbibi police station, Manik Hossain, 40, son of late Manjurul Karim of Matas Manzil Malanch area, Helal Hossain, 50, son of Sharif Uddin of the same area and Ram Chandra Roy, son of Ram Chandra Roy of Damdama old municipality.  Ratan Chandra Roy (38).

 According to Panchbibi Police Station sources, on Friday (May 20) afternoon, about 300 meters away from Bagjana Bazar, using the identity of DB police, they  tried to snatch the passengers by stopping a CNG vehicle and searching for the passengers. At that time, SI Md. Anisur Rahman with force handcuffed them red handed.In this incident, There are 3/4 more fugitives and efforts are being made to arrest them.

 Panchbibi Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Palash Chandra Dev said that a case has been filed against the detainees and they have been sent to jail through the court on Saturday (May 21).

 There are multiple cases including drug, theft, snatching, extortion against them.
