6 unregistered clinic-diagnostic centers closed in Madhukhali, Faridpur

 Health department has closed 6 clinics and diagnostic centers in Madhukhali upazila of Faridpur.

Saturday (May 26) evening, the district civil surgeon. Md. A team from the health department led by Siddiqur Rahman raided and closed the clinics and diagnostic centers.

It is learned that the district health department conducted raids on unregistered and expired clinics and diagnostic centers. As a result, 6 diagnostic centers of Madhukhali upazila were closed.

Madhukhali Upazila Health Complex Residential Medical Officer. Kabir Sardar said that the operation was conducted under the leadership of Civil Surgeon Sir. During the operation, activities of Babu Memorial Hospital, Dhaka Medical Services, Sanjida Clinic, Sumi Clinic, Ekta Diagnostic Center, Diabetic Association, Moin Feko Eye Hospital have been declared closed.

In this regard, the manager of Dhaka Medical Services Kalyan Kumar Biswas said, the application has been submitted online. As the operating theater (OT room) was near the reception room, the inspector did not give clearance so the license could not be obtained now. Dr. Moin Feko Eye Hospital. AKM Moin Ahmed said, we have submitted online application and fee. Advocate Aliuzzaman Khokon, general secretary of Madhukhali Private Clinic and Diagnostic Owners Association, said that business activities should be carried out in accordance with the law and correct documents.

Last Thursday (May 28), the Department of Health ordered the closure of all illegal clinics and diagnostic centers in the country within 72 hours. If unregistered clinics and diagnostic centers are open after this period, legal action will be taken.
