Two youths arrested in Naogaon for attempting to kill a madrasa student

Police have arrested Shakil Hossain, 20, son of Mukul Hossain of Uttar Rajapur village in Raninagar upazila of Naogaon district and his younger brother Faisal Hossain, 18, for stabbing a madrasa student in the neck.

A madrasa student named Hridoy Hossain (18) was stabbed in the neck in Helaliahat area of ​​Santahar UP in Adamdighi upazila at 8 pm on Monday, April 4.

According to sources, Hridoy Hossain, son of Alam Hossain of Uttar Rajapur village in Raninagar, Naogaon, studied at Jamia Arabia Darul Uloom Madrasa, a tea garden in Santahar upazila. Ridho was renting his cousin Faisal's autorickshaw to return to Madrasa on Monday night after the holidays. But due to previous enmity, Faisal's brother Shakil Hossain got into the car as planned. According to the plan, their autorickshaw reached the corner of Helaliahat in Santahar and stabbed Riday in the neck. Heart tried to run for his life, but Shakil and Faisal chased after him to kill him.

The locals came forward and rescued Ridhoy and arrested the two of them and handed them over to the police.

Adamdighi Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Hazrat Ali said two persons were arrested and a knife was recovered from the spot. The injured madrasa student has been admitted to the Upazila Health Complex.
