Schoolgirl abducted in Naogaon rescued in Narayanganj; abductor detained

Niamatpur police have rescued a ninth grade schoolgirl abducted in Niamatpur of Naogaon district.

The schoolgirl was rescued from Siddhirganj police station area of ​​Narayanganj district on Sunday night, April 18. Police arrested the abductor Tuhin Babu alias Rabiul. Niamatpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Humayun Kabir confirmed the matter.

According to OC Humayun Kabir, Tuhin Babu alias Rabiul, 20, son of Sattar Mandal of Shampur Monnapara village of Srimantapur Union of the upazila was harassing a ninth class student of the school on his way to Shalbari Bimukhi High School. Abul was abducted in a white microbus from Mandal's pond around 9am.

Her father Bakhate Tuhin Babu alias Rabiul lodged a complaint with the police against the abduction of the girl. In the wake of this, the kidnapper Tuhin Babu alias Rabiul was arrested from Siddhirganj police station area of ​​Narayanganj district in a raid led by SI Ibrahim on Sunday night. Police also rescued the abducted schoolgirl.
