A day-long Islamic cultural program has been organized by Purapara Union Honors Club of Faridpur's Nagarkanda Upazila with this slogan in mind in order to uplift Islamic education and culture.

The event was held on Saturday (April 23) at 10 am in front of Purapara Bazar Union Parishad of the upazila.

Kkerat, Hamd / Naat, Islamic quiz and debate competitions were organized on the occasion. Students from different schools, colleges and madrasas participated in it and prizes were distributed among the winners.

Present at the time, Saltha Model Upazila Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center, presented by Imam Mufti. Rabiul Islam Rubel, President of Purapara Union Honors Club. Osman Mollah, General Secretary Mohammad Gias Uddin, members of Purapara Union Honors Club, Purapara Bangabandhu Public Library and local dignitaries.

According to local sources, "Purapara Union Honors Club" is an organization made up of educated youth of Purapara Union. They are conducting their activities to build a humane society. As a part of this, a public library named "Purapara Bangabandhu Library" has already been established in Purapara Bazar.

The organization recently provided free medical care to more than a thousand people through medical camps and diagnosed blood groups of more than 1,200 people, including school and college students. The organization has also taken initiative to establish an online blood bank in the area.

It is further learned that during the Corona period, relief and protection materials were distributed and massive public awareness activities were conducted to gain immense appreciation and acceptance from the people of the area.

Several members of the organization told reporters that we will continue our activities to build a humane society free from terrorism and drugs.
