Distribution of Aus incentive fertilizers and seeds among marginal farmers in Guimaras

Incentive fertilizers, seeds and spray machines have been distributed among marginal farmers in Guimara upazila of Khagrachhari.

Upazila Parishad Chairman Ushyepru Marma was the chief guest at the Guimara Upazila Parishad office at 10 am on Monday under the chairmanship of Upazila Fertilizer and Seed Monitoring Committee and Upazila Executive Officer Tushar Ahmed. Guimara Upazila Agriculture Officer Onkar Biswas was the special guest.

To achieve the target of the upcoming Aus season, 20 kg DAP, 10 kg MOP and 5 kg Aus rice seeds were distributed to each of the 400 marginal farmers of Guimara, Hafchhari and Sindukchhari Unions of the upazila for 54 hectares of land.

Among others present on the occasion were Guimara UP Chairman Nirmal Narayan Tripura, Upazila Agriculture Extension Officer Jyoti Kishore Barua, Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer Abdur Rahim Biswas, Mujibur Rahman, Ushaching Marma and others.
