Tragic death of a young man riding a motorcycle in a train collision in Naogaon

Baizid Hossain, 26, a motorcyclist, died after being hit by a train at Raninagar in Naogaon district.

He was seriously injured when he was hit by a train while crossing the railway line on a motorcycle in Barabaria area of ​​Raninagar upazila on Saturday evening. He was admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where he died at around 10 pm.

The deceased was identified as Baijid Hossain, son of Younus Ali of Guata Uttarpara village under Raninagar upazila.

The matter has been confirmed by OC of Santahar Railway Police Station Shakiul Azam.

 

He said Baijid Hossain was crossing the railway line in Barabaria area on a motorcycle on Saturday evening. At that time, when a train hit a motorcycle, Baizid, the driver of the motorcycle, fell down the railway track. He was seriously injured.

Locals rescued Baizid in critical condition and took him to Naogaon Sadar Hospital. As his condition deteriorated there, he was sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment. Baizid died at night while undergoing treatment there. However, no one was able to confirm which train killed him.
