The expatriates are not far behind the borders of the country. All the native festivals are celebrated by the Bengali speaking people living in different countries. In its continuation, Narayanganj District Association Italy has celebrated Spring Festival and Cake Fair in Rome.
On the occasion of Basant Utsav and Pitha Mela, Narayanganj District Association has recently organized various events in the Rossai Restaurant Hallroom of Rome.
Starting from the afternoon, women, children and men in colorful costumes gradually started attending the ceremony. The program lasted till night with dance songs of favorite artists, recitation of pillow games for women, country songs performed by local artists.
Under the overall supervision of the chief advisor of the organization Moktar Rahman Maktul and the organizing secretary Shahriar Zaman Rubel, acting president Ram Kanai Saha presided over, the advisors of the organization Sultana Muktar Pakhi, Kasim Uddin, Shakil Ahmed, Masudur Rahman, life member Bazlur Rahman, Alam, Nurul Haque, General Secretary Rubel Mollah, Joint General Secretary Humayun Kabir Shiplu, Mozammel Haque, Md.
