The High Court directed to appoint Nishat Sultana who was deprived of appointment

Nuruzzaman Liton, District Representative, Naogaon

Disqualified Nishat Sultana (Batch-10, Roll-41001197 MOPO) has been appointed in the second recruitment cycle in 2019 by Talwaria Degree College, Jessore. The High Court has directed to pay.

High Court sources confirmed that a copy of the verdict was delivered to the Ministry of Education and NTRCA office by the court on Sunday, February 8.

Advocate Abdul Majid Mollah appeared for the petitioner Nishat Sultana. Following the first day's hearing on November 29 last year, a two-judge bench of the High Court comprising Justices Enayetur Rahim and Mostafizur Rahman passed the order and directed that the matter be disposed of within four weeks.

It is learned that on February 16 last year, Nishat Sultana was denied employment even though he was recommended to re-employ 1264 candidates who had been recommended for wrongful appointment in an institution near their permanent address. He continues to suffer from extreme frustration. So when he filed a writ petition in the High Court to get justice, the High Court ruled to appoint him.

Nishat Sultana, who was denied employment, said he was recommended for the post of lecturer at Jessore Talbaria Degree College in the second recruitment cycle. In February last year, the NTRCA recommended new appointments to 1,244 people with erroneous demand, but was denied employment for a long time. Although he contacted the NTRCA office more than once, he was wasting his time without making any appointment. So he filed a writ petition in the High Court to get justice and the Hon'ble High Court directed to appoint him.

Advocate Abdul Majid Mollah appeared for the petitioner. On the other hand, Deputy Attorney General Bipul Bagmar, Assistant Attorney General Selim Azad, Sirajul Alam Bhuiyan and Delwar Hossain were for the state.

Abdul Majid Mollah, counsel for the petitioner, said: Therefore, when he filed a writ petition in the High Court seeking his rights and justice, at the end of the first day's hearing on November 29, 2019, a bench of High Court Justice Enayetur Rahim and Justice Mostafizur Rahman ordered to appoint him as MPO.

The lawyer further said that at the same time, others who have been recommended for appointment have been recruited and are getting regular salary.
