IGP inaugurated various development works of police in Khagrachhari

Inspector General of Police has inaugurated two newly constructed police station buildings and police outposts in Khagrachari. Benazir Ahmed.

He unveiled the plaques at the Khagrachhari District Police Lines on Thursday afternoon (February 24).

Later, he joined the exchange of views with various senior officers and members of the district police lines. Benazir Ahmed.

Chittagong Range DIG Anwar Hossain, Khagrachhari APBN Specialized Training Center Commander Additional DIG Aurangzeb Mahbub, Additional DIG (Operations and Intelligence) Md Saiful Islam BPM (Bar) and Khagrachhari Superintendent of Police Abdul Aziz were also present.

Superintendent Abdul Aziz said the newly inaugurated structures include laying of foundation stone of newly constructed Nari Barrack Building, newly constructed Manikchhari Thana Bhaban, Laxichhari Thana Bhaban, Vaibonchhara Police Outpost Bhaban and 6-storey barrack building at Khagrachhari District Police Lines.

In the evening, he will participate in cultural programs and dinner at Police Lines. He is scheduled to return to Dhaka via Chittagong tomorrow morning.
