Ekhlas slaughtered and killed van driver Hasan in Naogaon and finally arrested him

Police have arrested Ekhlas, the mastermind behind the murder of van driver Hasan Ali by slitting his throat at Mahadevpur in Naogaon district.

Ekhlas was arrested from Madanchak village of Valain union in Manda upazila of the district on Monday afternoon, February 21.

This information was given by Superintendent of Police Abdul Mannan Mia at a press conference held at the office of the Superintendent of Police on Tuesday afternoon, February 22.

At the press conference, the Superintendent of Police said that the arrested Ekhlach Hossain rented Hasan Ali's charger van saying that he would go to Khajur Bazaar for 30 rupees. Later, he asked them to come from there to Shabeel junction. After that, when the van reached Shabeel junction, the driver grabbed the knife to Hasan Ali's neck and asked him to stop the van.

When Hasan Ali stopped the van, he stabbed him in the neck from behind and threw his body in a paddy field on the side of the road. He said the detainee had already been handed over to the court.
