The Italian branch of Rome Metropolitan Chhatra League has celebrated the 74th founding anniversary of its success

A cake-cutting prayer and discussion was organized by the Rome Metropolitan BCL branch at Victoria Food of Roma Restaurant in the Italian capital Rome on Tuesday, January 4th, on the occasion of the glorious tradition of Bangladesh Chhatra League, an organization formed by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Hafeez Md. Sanwar recited the Qur'an in the middle of the national anthem of Bangladesh under the chairmanship of Sanjit Dhar, President of the organization and Ehsanul Islam Shuvo, General Secretary.

Bangladesh Chhatra League Italy Branch Organizing Secretary Tanvir Hawlader, Relief and Disaster Management Secretary Ali Raihan, Member Ahmed Haider, Noakhali Sonaimuri Upazila Chhatra League Leader Durjoy Naeem, Singair Upazila Former Chhatra League Leader Shamim Mollah, Rome Metropolitan Chhatra League Leader Rajib were present as guests on the occasion. Hawladar, Rafi Imam, Hira Fakir, Sheikh Shahjalal, Sheikh Akash, Murad Hossain, Zakir Hossain, Ayan Hawladar, Mostafizur Rahman, Sohag Sheikh and many more.

The leaders said that since the establishment of Chhatra League, this traditional student organization has given strong leadership in the democratic movement and struggle including language movement and great freedom struggle. They are working together to build Bangabandhu's golden Bangladesh and strengthen the hand of People's Leader Sheikh Hasina, under the leadership of Al Nayyan Khan Joy, Central President of Bangladesh Chhatra League and General Secretary Lekhak Bhattacharya. He called upon the BCL leaders of Bangladesh and Prabas to play a more leading role in upholding the ideals of Bangabandhu.

At the end, prayers were offered for the soul of Bangabandhu and all his family members including Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and for the peace of the country.
