The incident took place at midnight on Thursday, January 20 in Kuriail area of ​​Bholab union of the upazila. At that time, the terrorists grabbed Niamat Ullah's wife and daughters by the neck with a knife and looted Rs 2.5 lakh in cash and gold ornaments.

Later, his wife Mitu Akhter became the plaintiff and Amir Hamza alias Hacheen of the same area lodged a written complaint with the Rupganj Police Station accusing Anishullah, Rafiqul Islam, Sumon and Azizul Haque.

The mason, Niyamtullah, said he had a long-running dispute with Russell Pradhan, the head of the adjoining house, over 2 percent of the land in his house.
