The newly elected members of the unions of Guimara Upazila were sworn in

The newly elected members of the unions of Guimara upazila under Khagrachhari district have been sworn in. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tushar Ahmed presided over the swearing in ceremony.

The swearing-in ceremony started at 10 am on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Also present were members of Khagrachhari District Council and General Secretary of Guimara Upazila Awami League Memong Marma, Upazila Vice Chairman Jharna Tripura, Presiding Officer in charge of elections and Upazila Animal and Resources Officer Dr. Alamgir Hossain, Upazila Election Officer Md. Saiful Islam, current chairman of Guimara Sadar Union Parishad Nirmal Narayan Tripura, former chairman of Hafchhari union Chaithoai Chowdhury and current chairman Manshe Chowdhury, chairman of Sindukchhari union Redak Marma. Also present were members of the three newly elected Union Parishads.

The newly elected members and reserved women members of three unions of Guimara Upazila namely Guimara Sadar UP, Hafchhari UP and Sindukchhari Union Parishad were sworn in.
