Muhammad Echhar, son of Samad Ali Munsir, a member of Padua Ward No. 3 of Lohagara Upazila, has been awarded the Human Rights Award-2021 for providing continuous assistance with cash, relief and textiles among the helpless people in the area during the Coronation period.

The award was handed over to him at noon on Saturday (December 11) in the hall room of Alhaj Mostafizur Rahman University College in the upazila.

 Chairman of the Upazila Parishad Ziaul Haque Chowdhury Babul was present as the keynote speaker at the rally, discussion meeting and reception organized by the Lohagara branch of the Bangladesh Human Rights Commission on the occasion of the 63rd World Human Rights Day.
