Minhaz Hussain From Italy: 

The Embassy of Bangladesh in Rome bade farewell to Mr. Sikder Mohammad Ashrafur Rahman, Counsellor and HOC(Head of Chancery) on 3 December,2021 in connection with his next assignment at the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Kolkata, India  after his successful tenure in Italy. During the farewell meeting, Officers and Officials of the Mission deeply appreciated his laudable contribution during his 3-year plus  tenure  while also highlighting his fine human qualities, innovative ideas and other attributes. H.E. Mr. Md. Shameem Ahsan, Ambassador, commended the professional commitment and sincerity of Counsellor Ashraf and  thanked him for being extremely supportive to him. All the members of  the Embassy wished good health and a pleasant stay at the new station for the outgoing diplomat and his family. The outgoing Officer also shared his sentiment and sincerely thanked all for their support and cooperation. Finally, Mr. Ashraf  received a plaque  from the Ambassador as a recognition of his dedicated services.
