A waz mahfil and light jiki has been held at the initiative of Khagrachhari district branch of Bangladesh Mujahideen Committee.

The mahfil was held at Eidgah Maidan of Khagrachhari Municipality from 3 pm on Monday (November 15) till 10:30 pm.

 Naib Amirul Mujahideen Shaikhul Hadith Allama Mufti Syed Muhammad Faizul Karim was present as the chief guest at the mahfil presided over by District Mujahideen Committee President Maulana Abdul Quader Wahedi.

  In the statement of the guest Allama Faizul Karim said, those who do good deeds will go to paradise and those who do not do good deeds will not go to paradise. It is not possible to go to heaven without faith and deeds. In the Hereafter there will be only two groups, one group is Paradise and the other is Hell. No matter how much power one possesses, there is no value in the Hereafter without faith and deeds.

 Alhaj Hazrat Maulana Rashedul Islam Rahmatpuri, Chittagong Divisional Organizing Secretary of Mujahid Committee, Maulana Qari Osman Gani, President of District Qawmi Madrasa and Ulama Parishad, Khatib of Chittagong EPZ Baitun Nur Jame Mosque, Maulana Harun Rashid Aufid were present as special guests. Maulana Ahmad Abdul Qayyum, Secretary, District Quran Education Board; In the end, the end was declared through prayers and supplications for the overall welfare of the country, nation and Islam.
