The nomination of 109 candidates in 3 UP elections of Guimara Upazila has been declared valid

 In the Union Parishad elections of Guimara Upazila of Khagrachhari, nomination papers have been selected for the posts of Chairman, Member of Reserved Constituency and Member of General Constituency in 3 Unions.

Returning Officers Rikal Chakma and Alamgir Hossain declared the nomination papers of the candidates valid after the screening in the Guimara Upazila Parishad conference room from 10 am on October 21, 2021. At that time, the nomination papers of 10 candidates for the post of chairman of 3 unions, 62 candidates for the post of general member and 26 candidates for the post of reserved women member were declared valid.

Among others, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tushar Ahmed, Women Vice Chairman Jharna Tripura and other government and non-government officials and journalists and candidates were present. It may be mentioned that the election of 3 union councils of Guimara upazila will be held on November 11.
